At PWL, we routinely handle both full truckload and less than truckload (LTL) shipments for our customers. LTL shipments include freight from more than one customer and generally make a number of stops along the way as the freight is delivered to various customers. That means that freight can be unloaded and reloaded as needed.

With full truckload shipments, or FTL shipping, the freight being shipped by one customer is enough to fill the entire trailer. The freight is never handled in-route with full truckload freight transport, so this type of shipping decreases the potential for freight damage along the way to the final destination.

One of the challenges of full truckload logistics is that driver availability can be a problem. But with PWL’s vast network of over 20,000 dependable full truckload carriers and access to a fleet of more than 100,000 trailers in all, we’ll find the best and safest method of full truckload freight transportation for your needs.

We handle full truckload shipping across the U.S. and Canada, so contact us for a quote today!
